Jennifer Lopez is set to launch her Love and Light fragrance July 2 exclusively on HSN.
She is scheduled to be on the air for eight hours, taking calls from viewers. The new eau de parfum, which is described as a “sparkling floral, woody fragrance,” looks to express the star’s softer, more sensual side, said a Coty spokeswoman, who added that Love and Light will mark Lopez’s 17th scent. The fragrance is packaged in a bottle inspired by the curves of a woman, with a pearlescent finish and pale mint and gold accents. A jewel-like cap aims to add a touch of luxury.
Lopez is expected to share her personal stories about building a global beauty brand, as well as the development of the fragrance and her career. To generate buzz for the fragrance, Lopez fans can register for a chance to meet the singer-actor-“American Idol” judge on HSN’s set during an online sweepstakes at hsn.com and the retailer’s Facebook page, from June 9 to 14. In addition to meeting Lopez, the winner will receive airfare for a guest, two nights at the Vinoy Renaissance Resort and Golf Club in Saint Petersburg, Fla., $500 in cash and $300 worth of Love and Light products. Five second-place prizes of a Coty fragrance valued at $50 each will also be awarded.
Love and Light is available in two sizes, 2.5 oz. for $58 and 1 oz. for $32. A 6.7-oz. body lotion is also available for $27.50. While HSN is launching the fragrance, Love and Light is slated to enter Kohl’s and department stores in September.
