PARIS — Philippe Farnier has been named managing director for France for Parfums Christian Dior. He succeeds Gilles Dougoud in the post at the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned company.
Farnier’s most recent position was at YSL Beauté, where he served as managing director for France since 2006. He joined that group, which is now part of L’Oréal, in 2003. Farnier has also held positions at Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Heineken.
