LONDON — Josh Wood, the London-based hair colorist — who’s known for tending to the locks of fashion-plate clients including Laura Bailey, Elle Macpherson and Jemima Khan — is set to bring his Atelier salon concept to London department store Liberty.
Atelier Liberty, the store’s first hair salon, will open its doors Oct. 15. The space, to be designed by Yen Yen Teh of London’s Emulsion Architecture, will be located on the store’s third floor, overlooking nearby Carnaby Street. The space will add to the Atelier Salon in London’s Notting Hill, which Wood opened with his business partner, Lorraine O’Brien, last year.
“I was touched by the fact that she lost her father, really before his time, and it was a real shock. She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown. “It transcends the genre that is you think of a sci-fi show — you don’t expect it to be so profound or emotionally riveting,” Evan Rachel Wood told WWD of her Emmy nominated role in Westworld. styled by @samanthamcmillen_stylist 📸 @emmanmontalvan #emmys2017 #wwdeye
