BERLIN — Düsseldorf is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest — and fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld — this spring.

Düsseldorf-based Henkel AG’s Schwarzkopf hair care brand asked the multitasking German designer to envision a pop-up concept for the heart of its hometown — intended to attract locals, visitors and stylistas alike.
