Textured and tousled were backstage buzzwords for hairstyles. “The diffuser is the big thing,” said Samantha Hillerby at Julien Macdonald. “Drying naturally, scrunching and creating texture are back in a big way.” At some shows, the texture was soft, as in poufs of frizz at Sonia Rykiel and Louis Vuitton; at others, rough and choppy. There is a common point, though, said stylist Paul Hanlon: “It’s all about dry texture.”
