Aerin Lauder is adding a fragrance microsite for her Aerin Fragrance Collection.
The site, aerinfragrance.com, is set to go live in North America and the U.K. on Monday. In addition to learning about the fragrance collection — which comprises Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine and Evening Rose — the site offers detailed information about the notes in each fragrance and what they bring to the juice. Viewers can also custom design their own Aerin-inspired monograms, watch videos, share their thoughts on social media and, of course, shop.
“It is an interactive, engaging way to experience fragrances,” said Francesca Damato, executive director of global marketing for Aerin Beauty. “Leveraging social media, the site allows users to customize and design their own fragrance-inspired monograms and messages to share virtually.”
Lauder is partnering with Paperless Post so that users can upload their personalized monograms to send digital cards online.
To encourage participation, the brand will launch with a five-week sweepstakes with prizes from the fragrance lineup, with one grand-prize winner being awarded with about $3,500 in goods from Lauder’s lifestyle brand, including Lauder’s fragrances and book, as well as jewelry, sunglasses and several home items.
