Anthony Brands Adds New Role

The company has tapped Dana Kline as executive vice president of global sales.

Anthony Brands has tapped Dana Kline as executive vice president of global sales. The role is new to the company and was created specifically for Kline.

In her post, Kline will assist with the company’s revamp and diversification into new categories, including women’s, prestige body care, the masstige market and the intimates category. She will oversee global business development, which includes building the company’s brand portfolio for domestic and international markets. Also, Kline has her sights set on enhancing the structure and process of sales and training execution to achieve growth and return on investment for the brand.

“I am [pleased] to have Dana Kline join Anthony Brands as executive vice president of global sales,” said Anthony Sosnick, founder and ceo of Anthony Brands. “With her strong international experience, Dana has been assigned the task of strategically growing the portfolio of brands in both domestic and foreign markets. She will be an integral part of executing the company’s vision.”

Kline joined the men’s company on June 23, from Fusion Brands Inc., where she led the luxury division she created. Since 2010, Kline built a portfolio of brands including Diane von Furstenberg, Paul Smith, Betsey Johnson and Oscar de la Renta.

Kline is credited with capturing the global fragrance license and executing all creative and product development for One Direction’s fragrance, called Our Moment, which has generated more than $23 million in the U.S. market. The success of Our Moment has duplicated in all global markets. Recently, the project received a Fragrance Foundation award.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Kline also has held various senior executive management roles for brands, such as Gemini Cosmetics/ICON Beauty, Gary Farn, Christian Dior and Puig.
