Sephora Americas said today that Artemis Patrick has been named general manager of Sephora inside J.C. Penney.
Sephora inside J.C. Penney is a joint initiative that includes more than 300 of the cosmetics retailer’s outposts inside J.C. Penney Co. Inc. stores.
Patrick, who was most recently vice president of e-commerce merchandising at Sephora Americas, succeeds Philippe Pinatel, who has been named senior vice president and country manager of Sephora Canada. She will report to Satish Malhotra, senior vice president of Sephora Operations and Sephora inside J.C. Penney.
Malhotra said, “Artemis is a deeply experienced and talented retail industry executive who has made outstanding contributions at Sephora since joining our company six years ago. Sephora inside J.C. Penney has been a highly successful initiative. With the transformation of J.C. Penney that is now under way, we look forward to its continued growth as part of the new J.C. Penney store experience that is being created. Artemis is the ideal person to lead this business at this…juncture.”
Patrick’s past experience also includes a stint in inventory planning and procurement at DFS Group, a travel retail business that is part of Sephora’s parent company, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
