Avon Taps Patricia Perez-Ayala

She will be senior vice president, chief marketing officer, and global brand & category president, effective Dec. 3.

Avon Products Inc. has named Patricia Perez-Ayala as senior vice president, chief marketing officer, and global brand & category president, effective Dec. 3. She will report to chief executive officer Sheri McCoy and will sit on the executive committee.

Perez-Ayala spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble Co., most recently as vice president and general manager, Eastern Europe. 

From 2005 to 2010, Perez-Ayala was the vice president and general manager of North America Feminine Care and Global Strategic Planning, Tampax. Prior to that, she was general manager of Latin America Feminine Care, where she led product innovation, sales marketing and business operations in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina and Peru.

At Avon, Perez-Ayala will direct global management of Avon’s brand and marketing, including consumer insights, commercial marketing, digital marketing, and product category strategy and execution. She will also have oversight of Avon research & development, new product development and packaging, and the Liz Earle business. Her career began in 1983 with Procter & Gamble Venezuela.

McCoy said, “as we continue to drive Avon’s turnaround, a strengthened, streamlined global marketing organization is critical for the company’s success.  Patricia’s proven record of implementing change and driving results makes her the right person to lead Avon’s worldwide marketing efforts.”
