STEFAN F. HEIDENREICH has been named chief executive officer of Beiersdorf AG. He succeeds THOMAS B. QUAAS, who has been with Beiersdorf for 33 years, and is slated to be elected to the company’s supervisory board. The 48-year- old Heidenreich comes from the Hero Group, a manufacturer of baby foods and preserves, where he spent 15 years, and has served as ceo since 2002. He also previously held roles with Bertelsmann, Reckitt Benckiser and Procter & Gamble….

MIKE BLOOM was named president and chief operating officer of Family Dollar Stores Inc. Bloom was most recently executive vice president of merchandising and supply chain at CVS, where he was credited with improving the company’s profile in key categories, including beauty. No successor has yet been named. As a result of his departure, RON LINK, senior vice president of logistics, and RICHARD WIDDOWSON, vice president of inventory replenishment, will report to SCOTT BAKER, executive vice president of operations, real estate and supply chain. JUDY SANSONE, vice president, merchandise manager, will assume responsibility for the merchandising organization at CVS….

 

SHARON COLLIER has been named ceo of Cover FX, effective Jan. 1. Most recently, Collier was president and ceo of Laura Mercier Cosmetics and RéVive Skincare….

 

RICHARD FERRETTI has been named senior vice president, global creative director of the Estée Lauder brand. Ferretti, who reports to global brand president JANE HERTZMARK HUDIS, will oversee all creative and visual aspects of Lauder. Previously, he was creative director of the Coach and Reed Krakoff brands….

 

Veteran cosmetics executive ROBERT BRADY has joined Caswell-Massey as its chief executive officer. Brady, who spent the bulk of his career with LVMH, was most recently a partner in a New Jersey-based consulting firm.
