Cos Policastro to Retire From Givaudan

The executive vice president of fine fragrances at Givaudan Fragrances Corp. will retire by yearend.

Policastro, 59, began at Givaudan in 1997. In 2001, he opened Givaudan’s New York Creative Studio, which established a flagship fine fragrance presence in New York.

During his career, Policastro has represented Givaudan on the board of The Fragrance Foundation, the advisory board of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s master’s program and the Personal Care Products Council board. He was honored at the Beauty Ball in 2009 for his dedication to the American Cancer Society and PCPC’s Look Good Feel Better program. He was also honored by the James E. Marshall Foundation at the Beyond Beauty dinner in 2011.
