Terry Darland has been named president of North America for Christian Dior Perfumes LLC.

Darland, who most recently was general manager of North America for the company, will continue to report to Pamela Baxter, president and chief executive officer of LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics and President of Christian Dior Inc.
“This promotion is in recognition of Terry’s leadership and commitment to our company, and most importantly, its employees,” said Baxter. “Terry has been an integral part of the resurgence of this brand in North America and I look forward to our continued partnership, well into the future.”
Darland, a 29-year veteran of the luxury cosmetics, skin care and fragrance industry, joined Dior in March 2004 as senior vice president of marketing, sales and education of Christian Dior Perfumes. In 2006, she was promoted to general manager of North America.
Darland began her beauty career with the Estée Lauder Cos. in 1980 as Clinique’s first account coordinator in the U.S. She was later named account executive for the brand’s Midwest and West Coast regions. While at Lauder, Darland held a number of managerial roles across the company’s brand portfolio, including vice president of sales for Prescriptives, vice president of marketing for Aramis and Tommy Hilfiger Fragrances, and vice president of sales and education for Prescriptives and Kate Spade Beauty.
