Executive Changes at Estée Lauder in Europe

Federica Polinori and Simona Luraghi take up new positions.

MILAN — There’s a change afoot at the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. in Europe.

Federica Polinori, who spent the last four years as director of the Clinique and Aramis and Designer Fragrances divisions in Italy, is headed for Paris. There, she will be vice president and general manager of Aramis and Designer Fragrances for the EMEA region.

Simona Luraghi will take over Polinori’s former role in Milan. Luraghi began her career at Carrefour, where she was an assistant international buyer, and subsequently held a variety of positions at Barilla, Unilever and Novartis Pharma, before becoming director and country manager for Diageo’s premium luxury spirits division in Italy.

Edoardo Bernardi, chief executive officer and general director of Estée Lauder Cos. Italia, said Luraghi’s appointment comes “at a time of great vitality for our Italian branch.”
