In her new role, Gautier reports to Marc Menesguen, president of the Luxury Products Division at L’Oréal — which holds the Giorgio Armani Parfums license. She is also part of the division’s management committee.

Gautier succeeds Jean-Pierre Charriton, who will soon have new responsibilities within L’Oréal’s Luxury Products Division, according to the company.

Most recently, Gautier was president of the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion brand. Prior to that, she held the posts of chairman of Hermès Parfums’ supervisory board, managing director of Hermès leather goods and chief executive officer of Hermès Parfums. Gautier has worked at Cartier, Paco Rabanne and Chanel, as well.
