GlossyBox, a global beauty box subscription service, has tapped former Vanity Fair advertising director, Susan Naci as its chief executive officer.
In her new role, Naci will oversee the growth of GlossyBox in the U.S. and will continue to bring new brands, beauty authorities and exclusivity to the online platform.
Naci said she has gained a feeling for overseas consumers through her personal contacts made while traveling. “And as a beauty curator, I want to help reach the U.S. customer,” she added.
GlossyBox, which was launched in the U.S. in May, is available in 17 countries. It delivers boxes containing a minimum of five deluxe samples, chosen according to recipient’s needs, each month for $21. Upon receiving products, subscribers are encouraged to fill out a survey to better tailor their next delivery.
“I traveled my whole life,” said Naci. “I discovered rituals and beauty secrets from all over the world and this is exactly the place I want to harness my experience.”
