Kathleen McNeill Departs Beauty.com

She has left her post as president, a role she held since 2006.

Kathleen McNeill has left her post as president of beauty.com. McNeill, who had held the position since 2006, stepped down on Wednesday, confirmed a beauty.com spokeswoman.

During her tenure, the site — which sells both mass and prestige brands — added a host of editorial content, including videos, photography, how-tos and posts from guest editors, such as model Helena Christensen and hairstylist Ted Gibson. She also recruited makeup artist Romy Soleimani as its first beauty director at large.

Beauty.com — along with its sister site drugstore.com — was acquired by Walgreen Co. in 2011.
