Maybelline New York is putting a fresh face forward.
The brand has just appointed Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen as its newest spokesperson, joining the ranks of Christy Turlington, Charlotte Free and Emily DiDonato.
“Freja is an incredibly beautiful and confident woman,” said Damien Bertrand, Maybelline’s global brand president. “Not only is she a top model for a new generation, but she is also a modern style icon off the runway. She truly captures the catwalk-to-sidewalk spirit of Maybelline.”
Discovered in her hometown of Copenhagen, Erichsen has appeared in 64 shows including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent and Marc Jacobs. She has also starred in a number of advertising campaigns including Jil Sander, Gap, H&M, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Harry Winston and Valentino.
Erichsen will debut in Maybelline’s fall and winter print and television advertisements.
