The Breast Cancer Research Foundation announced the election of Leonard A. Lauder as acting chairman of the board of directors. He succeeds his wife, Evelyn H. Lauder, who founded BCRF in 1993 and chaired the foundation until her death in November. Mr. Lauder is Chairman Emeritus of The Estée Lauder Companies

Vincent Boinay has been appointed to the new position of international retail director in L’Oréal’s Luxe division. Boinay has worked in the Luxe division since 1991, most recently in Japan. In his new role, he will oversee the international retail department that was recently set up, with the purpose of promoting relations with international distributors, furthering the division’s digital operations and e-commerce and driving the retail and service strategy.
