Vitali, who has been the senior vice president of marketing in the Lancôme division of L’Oréal USA since October 2008, will report to Carol Hamilton, president of L’Oréal’s Luxury Products Division. Prior to Lancôme, Vitali was in the Maybelline New York/Garnier division, also as senior vice president of U.S. marketing.
She joined L’Oréal in 2003 after holding a succession of posts at Cover Girl, Sarah Lee and Revlon.
Hamilton said, “Cheryl not only brings very strong marketing talent and experience to this position, she also brings a generous, kind and charitable leadership style that embodies the DNA of the brand.”
