Carol Alt is to appear at two Duane Reade locations in Manhattan Wednesday and Thursday to promote her new skin care line, Raw Essentials.
The line consists of 18 items, including cleansing, moisturizing and antiaging items, all of which contain raw, natural ingredients. Alt, 49, follows a raw diet, and showed off results of following such a diet in a Playboy spread in 2009.
Prices for Raw Essentials items average around $15. Alt will appear Wednesday at noon at the retailer’s 939 Third Avenue store, then again at noon Thursday at the Eighth Avenue and 42nd street location.
The model-turned-beauty maven will be signing autographs, taking pictures with fans, handing out samples and giving away $1,000 worth of Raw Essentials via an in-store raffle.
