From Diptyque’s entry into skin care to Balenciaga’s feminine fragrance, everything’s coming up roses. And no wonder. “Historically, roses are recognized as a symbol of love and romance, and even friendship at times,” says Banchet Jaigla, founder of Banchet Flowers in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. “As a florist, I’ve learned how adored roses are for their exquisite beauty. Roses are the perfect way for men and women to express deep feelings to their special someone and that in itself is a beautiful thing.”
