Birchbox has partnered with CVS Pharmacy to offer an exclusive limited-edition Nuance Salma Hayek collection to subscribers. Nuance Salma Hayek is a beauty line exclusive to CVS Pharmacy designed to enhance the “nuances” of a woman’s individual beauty.
“Every woman should be entitled to preserve her youth, no matter what her background. Working with CVS Pharmacy, I wanted to make sure that every woman could afford my line. My main focus is to bring excellent products and ingredients to women of all economic levels,” said Salma Hayek.
The CVS Pharmacy-sponsored box will be shipped next month, at no additional cost, along with the monthly Birchbox, to a subset of subscribers, chosen based on their beauty profile. Although the brand would not reveal the number of limited-edition sets being produced, insiders believe there will be upwards of 15,000. This will allow subscribers to receive a specifically curated selection of Nuance Salma Hayek products as an added surprise beyond the monthly box. The products will include Nuance’s Mamey Fruit Volumizing Shampoo; Mamey Fruit Volumizing Conditioner; AM/PM Anti-Aging Super Cream; Lights, Camera, Action Eye Trio, and My Secret Super Moisturizing Body Cream.
In addition to the Nuance products, subscribers will also receive an exclusive offer to purchase the products from CVS Pharmacy. “We strive to introduce new and innovative brands to Birchbox subscribers, and are excited to partner with Nuance on a sponsored box this May,” said Katia Beauchamp, cofounder & co-chief executive officer of Birchbox. “This collaboration allows Nuance to tell a complete story by showcasing a range of their products and the editorial point of view, while bringing more excitement and delight to Birchbox subscribers.”
