London-based beauty junkies have a new place to preen. Spa at Bluebird, located in The Shop at Bluebird concept store, opened on the storied King’s Road last November. The 100-square-foot space features skin care, bath and body and fragrance brands, handpicked by buyer Stephanie Beucher-Ibrahim. “Customers want something that’s hard to find,” says Beucher-Ibrahim, who’s introduced Lostmarc’h scents and Kali’s Pearl skin care, among others, to the U.K. “I also love products that are versatile,” she adds, pointing to an Angelique item that can be used as a massage balm for babies, an eye makeup remover and an on-the-spot treatment for eczema. The space, which features salvaged cabinets as merchandising units, also houses a juice bar and the only Ole Henriksen-branded spa outside of Los Angeles. Befitting its location on one of London’s most fashionable thoroughfares, Beucher-Ibrahim, who studied chemistry and dermatology, whips up a bespoke foot scrub comprising brown sugar, honey and argan oil daily for use in the three-room spa. “People love that we mix it up here,” she says.
