Kate Somerville is adding to her skin care lineup with two new facial skin care and one body care product.

The first, CytoCell P299, Oil Free Anti-Wrinkle Serum, hits counters next week.
The key ingredient is P299, a proprietary stem-cell polypeptide intended to diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Also included are marine algae and hyaluronic acid complexes, designed to moisturize the skin and restore skin’s capacity to retain moisture. It will retail for $95 for 1 oz.
Somerville will follow it up in August with Kateceuticals Restor8 Replenishing Serum. Billed as an antiaging powerhouse, its ingredients include a proprietary tripeptide blend said to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; hyaluronic acid to reduce the visible depth and volume of wrinkles; ceramines for deep hydration and blackberry leaf extract for its antioxidants and polyphenols. The serum will retail for $165 for 1 oz.
Body Rescue Cream is intended to combat signs of aging on the body. Its key ingredient is Advanced Matrixyl 3000, said to firm sagging skin and refine texture. As well, it contains shea butter and cupuaçu fruit for their deep moisturizing properties and botanical tea and ginger extracts for their calming and smoothing properties. It will retail for $45 for 5 oz.
The products will be carried in about 461 doors globally: 393 specialty store doors in the U.S., including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and Sephora, and 68 internationally, including outlets in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. While executives declined comment on projected sales, industry sources estimated that the products would do about $5 million at retail in their first year on counter.
