LONDON — Unilever has acquired the soap business of Cosmivoire, an Ivory Coast-based producer with a market presence in West Africa. “The acquisition strengthens Unilever’s consumer business position both in the subregion and in [the Ivory Coast],” the company stated. Unilever said it has also completed the sale of its edible oil business in the country and its interests in palm oil plantations Palmci and PHCI.
