Press Conference on Madonna Badger Fire Scheduled

Briefing will address the tragic blaze that occurred on Sunday morning at the fashion advertising executive's Connecticut home.

A press conference on the tragic blaze at consultant Madonna Badger’s Connecticut home is slated to take place today at 5 p.m., on the sixth floor of the Stamford Government Center at 888 Washington Boulevard in Stamford, Conn., according to the Stamford Police Department.

Officers from the police and fire departments are expected to be present at the press conference.

A fire erupted at Badger’s home in Stamford on Sunday morning, killing the executive’s three young daughters and her parents. According to newspaper reports, Badger and Michael Borcina, a contractor, survived the fire, and she has been released from hospital.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation at press time.

Badger, a fashion advertising executive, founded the branding and creative services firm Badger & Winters Group in 1994. Prior to that, she had made a name for herself at Calvin Klein’s in-house CRK agency, where, as senior art director, she played a key role in the designer’s campaigns with Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss and his launch of the CK One fragrance.

According to the Badger & Winters Web site, the firm has worked with clients such as Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Chanel, 5S Shiseido, Adidas, A|X Armani Exchange, BCBG Girls, The Limited, Perricone MD, Rochas and Zac Posen.
