Licensed sports apparel manufacturer Knights Apparel Inc. has named Donnie Hodge, former chief operating officer of the Gerber Childrenswear division of Kellwood Co., as president and chief operating officer. Hodge joined Knights Apparel last week. Before his seven years at Kellwood, which was taken over by Sun Capital Securities Group LLC this year, Hodge spent 19 years at J.P. Stevens and successor company West Point Stevens, where he rose to senior vice president of strategic planning and a member of the company's executive strategy team. Based in Spartanburg, S.C., Hodge reports to the board of Knights Apparel.
