- AT HOME WITH PERRY: Perry Ellis International, based in Miami, has forged a licensing deal with Revman International Inc. to design, manufacture and distribute bed and bath products throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico under the Perry Ellis, Perry Ellis Portfolio and Perry Ellis America brands. The lines will hit department stores this fall. Revman, based in New York, owns the licensing rights to produce home lines for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Laura Ashley, Michael Kors and Tommy Bahama.
- CHANGES AT STEVEN MADDEN: Fashion footwear and accessories firm Steven Madden Ltd. said on Monday that Edward Rosenfeld, executive vice president of strategic planning and finance, has been named interim chief executive officer, and that Walter Yetnikoff, an independent director, has been named non-executive chairman. The company said that both appointments are effective immediately. Jamieson Karson, who was chairman and ceo, resigned from both positions to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
