LUCY GETS KARMAZIN: Kira Karmazin has joined VF Corp.'s Lucy Activewear brand as vice president of merchandising and marketing. Prior to joining Lucy, Karmazin served as vice president of merchandising for brands such as Coldwater Creek, Victoria's Secret and Gap Inc. Karmazin is based at the brand's Portland, Ore., headquarters and reports to Michelle Lantow, president of Lucy.
- ACCESSORIES DEAL: Private equity and venture capital fund 3i has acquired 49 percent of Antichi Pellettieri Bags, a newly founded accessories unit that will regroup handbag brands Braccialini, Francesco Biasia, Coccinelle and Mandarina Duck. The transaction between the London-based fund and Mariella Burani's leather goods division, Antichi Pellettieri SpA, which controls APB, cost 128 million euros, or $200 million at current exchange.
