NEW YORK — Uncovering key opportunities at retail and the advantages of designer collaborations will be among the topics addressed by top industry figures at the WWD Men’s Wear CEO Summit to be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel here March 29.

Among those scheduled to participate in a roundtable discussion on retail are Kevin Harter, vice president for men’s fashion direction at Bloomingdale’s; Russ Patrick, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of men’s for Neiman Marcus; Tom Ott, svp and gmm of men’s at Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bob Mitchell, co-president of Mitchells Family of Stores. Robert Burke, president and chief executive officer of Robert Burke Associates, will moderate the panel.
Those slated to discuss the advantages of designer-brand collaborations are Ari Hoffman, president and ceo of Gant USA Corp.; Lou Amendola, chief merchandising officer for Brooks Brothers, and Steven Alan, founder of Steven Alan.
The final panel discussion will center around brand stories and will feature Trey Laird, ceo and creative officer of Laird + Partners, who will discuss his work with Tommy Hilfiger; Alex Gonzalez, co-founder and executive creative director of AR New York, who will speak about Brioni, and James Gardner, ceo and co-founder of Createthe Group.
Other confirmed speakers include Emanuel Chirico, chairman and ceo of Phillips-Van Heusen; Robert Hanson, president of the global Levi’s brand for Levi Strauss & Co.; Doug Williams, ceo, and Joseph Abboud, president and chief creative officer of HMX Group; Natalie Massenet, founder and executive chairman of Net-a-Porter; Jeremy Langmead, editor in chief of Mr. Porter, and Umberto Angeloni, founder of Uman.
