A. Barry Briskman, president of Fishman & Tobin International, died of lymphoma on April 13 in West Chester, Pa. He was 65.
A 17-year veteran of the children’s wear company, Briskman is credited with establishing offshore manufacturing and spearheading the establishment of the company’s operations in Asia, which include fabric design, sampling and production control.
Before joining Fishman & Tobin, Briskman was president of Jay Z Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife Kristen, two sons and two stepdaughters.
The family has requested donations in his memory be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
