NEW YORK — The WWD Apparel and Retail CEO Summit has been rescheduled for Jan. 7 and 8 at The Plaza here.
The summit, originally scheduled for Oct. 29 and 30 at The Plaza, was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
Among the speakers will be Ron Johnson, chief executive officer of J.C. Penney Co. Inc.; Emanuel Chirico, chairman and ceo of PVH Corp.; Andrew Rosen, founder and ceo of Theory; Marc Jacobs; David Dyer, president and ceo of Chico’s FAS, and Gary Hamel, professor, London Business School and director, Management Innovation Exchange.
All sponsorships and registrations will be honored on the new dates.
The editors of WWD will assemble industry titans for the two-day summit, which focuses on leadership. It will be attended by 250-plus apparel and retail presidents and ceo’s. Topics include the Changing Face of Commerce; the Future of China; Designers and Brands — Striking the Right Balance; Rethinking Leadership for the 21st Century, and What Does Customer Service Mean Today.
