NEW YORK — Fran Boland has been named president of sales and marketing at Sag Harbor, a division of Kellwood Co.
She takes over the responsibilities of John Henderson, who retired as Sag Harbor president in July.
Most recently, Boland was vice president of sales and merchandising for Norton McNaughton, before which she held various senior-level posts at Bernard Chaus Inc. and Liz Claiborne Inc.
In a related move, Nisa Mellin has joined Sag Harbor as senior vice president of design. Most recently, she was vice president of design for Tommy Hilfiger's women's division, prior to which she was vice president of design for the Liz Sport and Liz & Co. brands for Liz Claiborne Inc.
Mellin succeeds Marina Pappas, who has retired as senior vice president of design after 30 years with the firm. Pappas was Sag Harbor's first designer when it began in 1975.
Boland, based here, reports to Paul Robb, chief executive officer of Sag Harbor, and Mellin reports to Neva Turi, executive vice president of design and merchandising.
