MILAN – The Burani family, the controlling shareholder in Italy’s Mariella Burani Fashion Group on Friday launched a public tender offer for a further 15 percent of the company at a price of 17.50 euros, or $26.98 at current exchange, a share. The company’s stock fell 3 percent to 15.58 euros, or $24.02, in mid-afternoon trading in Milan.
