Brand Matter inked a deal to license its Caribbean Joe women’s and kids sportswear businesses to Ivory International Inc., which will continue to market the brand to department and specialty stores.
Ivory will produce knits, wovens, sweaters, casual bottoms and outerwear for the brand in its newly formed Caribbean Joe Apparel Company division. Andrea Scoli has joined Ivory and will continue as president of the business.
Bill Sweedler, co-chair and chief executive officer of Brand Matter, said Ivory understands the brand and is “already working with the go-forward team to expeditiously transition the current business with retailer partners.”
Marketing Management Group helped facilitate the deal.
