WEST PATTERSON, N.J. -- Cytec Industries Inc. said Wednesday it will increase prices 2 to 3 percent on Creslan acrylic fibers used in the pile, knit outerwear and hosiery markets. The increase is effective with shipments beginning Oct. 1.

Early in August, Cytec announced a 2 to 3 percent price hike on Creslan acrylic fiber for the package-dye market, effective with shipments starting today.
