PARIS — Christian Dior has tapped L’Oréal veteran Hervé Perrot as president of its fashion and fragrance businesses in Japan, a new post.
Perrot, most recently European general manager for L’Oréal’s luxury products division, is to move to Japan shortly to become president of Christian Dior Couture KK before assuming responsibility for the Dior brand in Japan when he becomes a director of Parfums Christian Dior KK in the second half of 2009.
Perrot reports jointly to Serge Brunschwig, chief operating officer of Christian Dior Couture, and Thierry Dugny, general manager, international operations of Parfums Christian Dior.
Perrot started his career in 1985 at L’Oréal’s luxury products division, where he has held various positions in sales and marketing, including vice president and division general manager in Japan.
Etro’s show, titled “The Tree of Life,” was a celebration of the house’s 50th anniversary. “My father founded the company in 1968, which was the year of counterculture and psychedelia. It’s really a show that celebrates that and the paisley design of India and its origin,” said Veronica Etro. #wwdfashion #mfw #ss18 (📷: @delphineachard)
