Dockers San Francisco has partnered with Bagir Group Ltd. to launch a collection of women’s tailored separates for spring.

The line of machine washable and dryable jackets, pants, skirts and dresses likely will sell in many of the same department stores Dockers already is in, but the approximately $860 million brand declined to project volume for the tailored line. The collection has suggested retail prices ranging from $59 to $119.

“We are excited to extend our San Francisco lifestyle point-of-view to include the tailored clothing category,” said Barb Gollert, Dockers senior vice president of women’s merchandising and sales. “Bagir Group is a category leader who shares in our strategic vision to deliver a complete, head-to-toe wardrobe anchored in exceptional style, innovation and versatility.”

Bagir, a Kiryat Gat, Israel-based private label manufacturer, launched non-dry-clean suits at Limited stores in fall 2006 and introduced machine-washable and tumble-dry suits for men at J.C. Penney for spring 2006.

“We look forward to lending our category expertise to the development of a full range of fashion separates that showcase the look and feel of the Dockers brand,” said Offer Gilboa, chief executive officer of Bagir.
