The WWD Global Stock Tracker eked out a gain today, rising 0.1 percent to 98.79.
Many of the top gainers in the 100-issue Tracker hailed from Asia, where markets were strongest. Among the leaders were Chinese apparel producer and retailer The Younger Group, which gained 4.2 percent to 7.48 yuan, or $1.21; Li Ning Co., up 3.5 percent to 4.72 Hong Kong dollars, or 61 cents, and Shanghai Metersbonwe, 2.8 percent to 8.92 yuan, or $1.44.
