PARIS — Hennes & Mauritz AB said same-store sales in October fell 5 percent.

Group sales including VAT gained 4 percent  in October as the Swedish fashion giant increased its store count to 2,715 as of Oct. 31, versus 2,410 a year earlier.

Same-store sales had improved 6 percent in September.

The company provided percentages only. It is slated to report November and fourth-quarter sales on Dec. 17.
