PARIS - Hennes & Mauritz AB said same-store sales improved in November, helping to propel sales for the financial year as a whole up 5 percent.

The rise in same-store sales during the company’s 2009/2010 financial year, which runs from Dec. 1 to Nov. 30, compared with a 5 percent decrease in 2008/2009, the Stockholm-based firm announced. Including new stores, total sales for the year were up 15 percent, compared with a 4 percent rise the previous year.
