NEW YORK -- Kathy Moskal and Sandy Chilewich, founders and co-presidents of Hue Inc., a hosiery subsidiary of The Leslie Fay Cos., are leaving the company.
In a joint statement, the two said they were "exploring a number of opportunities." They declined to comment further.
As reported, Leslie Fay signed an agreement to license the Hue hosiery trademark to Kayser-Roth Corp. The deal, which also includes the sale of Hue's physical assets to Kayser-Roth, was approved in bankruptcy court on March 3.
Leslie Fay, which bought Hue in 1992, has been operating in Chapter 11 since last April.
