- MACY'S CAMPAIGN: Macy's has a new look in many of its fitting rooms — mammogram reminders. It's Macy's way to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month in October and urge women to get screened for breast cancer. The messages were installed this week at Macy's Herald Square, where there are a total of 98 fitting rooms on floors 2, 3, 5 and 6. Fitting rooms at the Macy's in Queens Center, Kings Plaza, downtown Brooklyn, Staten Island and Parkchester in the Bronx also have messages that read: "A friendly reminder...Talk to your doctor to schedule a breast exam, and if you're 40 or older, get your annual mammogram. For information on free or low-cost services, call 311 or visit www.nyc.gov."
