New York-based Inter Parfums Inc. reported net sales increased by 21 percent during the third quarter to $123.5 million, from $102.3 million in the same period a year ago. At constant exchange, revenues during the quarter ended Sept. 30 would have risen 16 percent.

Sales from the firm’s European operations were up 23 percent during the period to $108.8 million, from $88.1 million a year ago.

Inter Parfums’ U.S. operations generated sales of $14.7 million, a 4 percent rise from $14.2 million last year. The increase was driven by the nationwide rollout of Gap fragrances and personal care products, which are produced by the firm, and international sales of Gap and Banana Republic products.

During the first nine months of the year, net sales came in at $345.8 million, a 28 percent increase from $270.2 million last year.
