DALLAS — Intermix and CH Carolina Herrera will open stores this fall at NorthPark Center here as the mall signs new tenants for its $200 million expansion.

The 4,000-square-foot Intermix will be the chain's 14th unit and its first in Texas. It will carry a signature mix of designer and contemporary collections, accessories and shoes at a range of price points.

"Texas women are incredibly fashion forward and take fashion very seriously," said Khajak Keledjian, co-founder of the company. "After seeing the strong reaction to Intermix's most recent ventures into upscale shopping centers, such as Bal Harbour Shops, Phipps Plaza and the Americana Manhasset, Intermix is excited to be part of NorthPark Center."

Intermix will be in the corridor between Neiman Marcus and Dillard's in a space now occupied by Sephora, which is moving to the second level of the mall's new wing.

The 2,531-square-foot CH Carolina Herrera store will be next to the Barneys New York flagship, set to open this fall. It will be the sixth CH Carolina Herrera unit in the U.S. and the first in north Texas. The store will offer the diffusion label's clothing, accessories and shoes for men and women.

"Our goal in the redevelopment of NorthPark Center has been to offer our patrons a collection of retailers available in only a few locations in the United States," said David Haemisegger, president of NorthPark Management Co. and an owner of the center.
