NEW YORK — Richard Walsh has joined staffing firm Project Solvers. He will be working with Anne Maxfield, the firm's co-founder and president on sales and marketing initiatives.

Maxfield, an honors graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, is also the 2005 recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners NYC Signature Award. She cofounded Project Solvers with Leslie Frank in 1988.

Project Solvers, which specializes in the staffing needs of fashion and apparel companies, last year merged with Resolve Staffing, a national network of independent staffing agencies servicing niche markets.

Walsh, a 20-year staffing industry veteran, was most recently managing partner at Gromwell LLC, where he created and oversaw their freelance staffing division. He competes in the New York City Marathon, and last summer completed an Ironman Triathlon at Lake Placid, N.Y.

Project Solvers has offices here at 30 West 22nd Street.
