Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. is expected to announce today that François Delage will join the company Sept. 1 as president of the Asia-Pacific region.
Most recently, Delage was president of the Asia-Pacific area for Louis Vuitton and was based in Hong Kong. For six years, he lead the brand's efforts across 14 markets. Delage had a 16-year career with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, including serving as general manager in charge of the company's fashion brands in Micronesia.
In addition, Delage has held various key finance positions in France at Vuitton, DaiNippon Ink and Chemicals Inc. and Walt Disney.
At Polo, Delage will report to Scott Bowman, president of international business development.
