NEW YORK — Luxury department store Saks said it promoted Ron Frasch, vice chairman and chief merchant of Saks Fifth Avenue, to president and chief merchandising officer of the company.
The up-scale retailer also said Carolyn Biggs, senior vice president of stores for Saks Fifth Avenue, has been named executive vice president for stores, store visual, planning and construction. In this position she will be responsible for the New York City flagship store.
The company announced other executive changes and promotions, including the retirement of James Coggin, president and chief administrative officer.
