NEW YORK -- It was a good week for stocks in general last week, but retail, textile and apparel stocks were mostly on the downside. The biggest loser, on a percentage basis, was Merry-Go-Round Enterprises, the troubled apparel chain, which after showing some strength at the beginning of the week, closed at 2.88, down 11.5 percent.
