NEW YORK -- After absorbing a 96-point hit on Feb. 4, the market relaxed in the week ending Feb. 11 with the Dow Jones Industrial Average inching up 0.6 percent. At the same time, the WWD stock index slid 0.86 percent, pulled down by some weakness among the department stores and discounters, including Sears, whose earnings improvement wasn't up to Wall Street's expectations.
